Buttons & Beads

The other day my family and I headed out to the LaPorte, Indiana fairgrounds for an antique show. The place was teeming with amazing antiques and wonderful costume jewelry. One woman had a truly wonderful selection, including several bags full of vintage buttons for $5 a bag. It was torture to limit myself to just one bag, but I was able to restrain myself. After taking the buttons home, cleaning and sorting them, I found some real gems.

The buttons in this brown and green bracelet are from that recent find. The green and brown color scheme was a request.
